Why we invested

Industrial process heating, a cornerstone of manufacturing and recycling, relies heavily on inefficient, fossil-fuel-based systems that contribute to 10% of global CO2 emissions. Current solutions, such as vacuum-tube amplifiers, offer only 20–40% efficiency, have short lifespans, and require frequent maintenance, driving up costs and hindering sustainability efforts. The urgent need for decarbonization has created a market for scalable, energy-efficient alternatives.

SolidWatts addresses this with its cutting-edge Solid-State Power Amplifiers (SSPAs), offering over 85% efficiency and operational lifespans that far exceed traditional systems. Designed for modular scalability from 10 kW with the ambition to scale to power levels well beyond 1 MW, meeting the demands of even the most energy-intensive industrial processes. Applicable across industries like food processing and green steel, SolidWatts empowers manufacturers to transition from fossil fuels to renewable electricity.

By enabling cost-effective electrification of industrial heating, SolidWatts reduces emissions, lowers operational expenses, and supports industries in achieving sustainability and profitability goals.
